As the Engagement Manager for road freight, passenger transport, and warehousing, Justin will act as a key liaison between industry and government. Justin's role requires him to stay informed and responsive to the challenges businesses face across the sector, from driver shortages and workforce pressures to compliance issues.
Justin encourages employers and industry stakeholders to reach out, as he can actively support you to address training and skilling issues and bridge gaps. With over 20 years of experience in Queensland's transport and logistics industry, Justin has held various roles with a strong focus on operational leadership and organisational development.
His background includes hands-on work across the state-based in North Queensland for much of his career before relocating to South East Queensland in 2020. This regional perspective has given Justin a deep understanding of the unique workforce challenges faced by businesses across the state.
Justin now looks forward to engaging with businesses across the sector to better understand their challenges and to work collaboratively on solutions that ensure the industry remains resilient through current pressures and future change.

With over 10 years of experience delivering complex infrastructure projects across transport and related sectors, Maya brings a strong understanding of the workforce challenges facing industry. Maya's role involves working closely with employers, training providers, and government to identify current and emerging workforce needs, analyse skills gaps, and support the alignment of training, qualifications, and career pathways with real industry demand.
She is particularly focused on ensuring workforce solutions are practical, future-focused, and responsive to industry change, technology adoption, and regulatory requirements.She has a proven ability to build trusted relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and to act as a strong advocate for industry needs.
Maya works collaboratively to support workforce planning, skills development, and sustainable talent pipelines across rail, aviation, marine and maritime sectors.
Maya is passionate about strengthening industry training, government collaboration, improving workforce participation, and supporting career pathways that deliver skilled, job-ready workers while supporting long-term industry productivity and growth.
